North Side Paragliding is the most complete and experienced school in the Sunshine Coast! Experience and knowledge of your instructor matters when learning to fly. Chief Flying Instructor of North Side, Diogo, has over 24 years of flying experience and has been teaching for more than half of this time, since 2013.
We are highly conscious about the importance of working with small groups. Training is carefully structured with realistic and flexible learning timeframes to suit each individuals needs and schedules, unlike accelerated programs that rush students through training in a fixed number of days regardless of weather conditions. We are the only school in the Sunshine Coast with private flying sites and training hills (where the first low flights are done to progress to the high flights). North Side offers Paragliding, Paramotoring, Towing, Thermal flying, Safety S.I.V training, Endorsements and more.
North Side Paragliding is certified by the Sport Aviation Federation of Australia (SAFA).
Taking a maximum of 4 students per class, this ensures the safety, flying time, professional instruction and the quality of training. It is our first priority to provide the quality attention our students need during the beginning stages of their flying career.
We use some of the safest and best quality equipment in the paragliding market, from radios to harnesses, and of course paragliders. This provides a faster, safer and smoother progression for each student and adds to the magic of the overall experience of your journey to the sky.
